1987. THE BEGINNING
Johnny, a charismatic Swedish salesman with a refusal to accept bland condiments, purchases a small mustard factory and develops his legendary recipe.
1995. THE EXPANSION
As Johnny's becomes a Swedish staple, the range expands with BIG new flavour combinations that challenge traditional mustard expectations — beginning our tradition of disrupting the condiment shelf.
2002. THE LEGACY
After starting a mustard revolution, Johnny retires and sells to Kavli, who continue his legacy of quality and innovation while maintaining what made his original recipes so special — all whilst giving all profits to charitable causes.
2010. THE DOMINATION
Johnny's becomes Sweden's #1 mustard brand, proving that big flavour and exciting versatility can revitalise something that's usually left at the back of the fridge.
2025. THE UK INVAsION
Johnny's makes its official UK debut, bringing our game-changing approach to British BBQ enthusiasts and everyday food lovers who want condiments people actually use.
THE KAVLI TRUST
All our profits go to charity. In fact, the Kavli Trust, who now owns Johnny’s Mustard, donated a whopping £3.4 million to charities in 2024.
